The tradition continues! For the fourth year in a row, our team at Ray White Lower North Shore Group is coming together this September to take on the 10KADAY challenge. We’re walking 10,000 steps every day to promote autism awareness and raise $50,000 for Giant Steps.
Why are we doing this?
As a local real estate business, our success is built on a strong, supportive Lower North Shore community, and with that comes a responsibility to support everyone in it. Children and adults with autism, along with their families, are an essential part of our neighbourhood. We want to ensure they get the understanding and care they deserve. Walking 10,000 steps a day and fundraising for Giant Steps is our way of driving awareness and delivering real financial support to the people who help make our community a better place.
Who is Giant Steps?
Established in 1995 to bring world class autism education to Australia, Giant Steps is an extraordinary school and support network. They bring special education teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and music therapists directly into the classroom to support students from Kindergarten through to Year 12 and into Adult Services.
Beyond education, Giant Steps acts as a lifeline for whole families. They provide home support, run sibling programs, train local community groups and advocate for autism understanding across the wider community.
