As we find ourselves in another lockdown, we wanted to explain how we have adapted our work processes to ensure we are compliant with the current Government guidelines and keeping everyone in our community safe.

Private Inspections (Sales & Lettings)
When arranging or conducting private appointments for open homes, for both sales and lettings, our agents will undertake the following:

Virtual Inspections (Sales & Lettings)
We are offering virtual inspections over this period, which allow a personalised property viewing experience without any of the risks that exist with face-to-face contact. There are a variety of online platforms we can use to do this with buyers and renters, for both residential and commercial property. Signing of Contracts
All our clients, whether you are leasing a property, exchanging on a sale or re-signing agency agreements we can do so electronically.
As we are currently unable to run onsite auctions or in-room auctions, we can and have successfully run virtual auctions.

If clients are happy to proceed, we will ensure all safety measures are taken to continue to produce marketing materials (photos, floorplans, styling).
Pre-settlement inspections will proceed but in line with NSW Government guidelines, only one party is to attend.
These are now conducted virtually with the tenant. The tenant is sent a link with instructions on how to complete the report and include photos. Our team will then review the comments and photos, complete the report and send to our loandlords as normal. There is another option where the tenant is asked to walk through the property with us over a video call and provide any photos of the property after the call if required.
Our Property Managers will continue to complete vacate inspections for the bond refund. This process is slightly different where keys are returned in a contacless manner and the inspection is completed by the Agent only. We are still obliged to invite your tenant to the inspection so in these instances we will do this over a video call.
In end of lease situations, our maintenance team will now only commence work once the current tenant has vacated the property. This will minimise our team’s and preferred tradesman’s risk.
Ingoing inspections will continue and tenants can move in as usual. Our team is able to provide all paperwork digitally and can offer key handover services with one tenant, or keys can be arranged for collection by lockbox.
