COVID-19 Lockdown – July 2021

As we find ourselves in another lockdown, we wanted to explain how we have adapted our work processes to ensure we are compliant with the current Government guidelines and keeping everyone in our community safe.

Please find below a summary of how we can continue to work with our clients and the community.

Private Inspections (Sales & Lettings)
When arranging or conducting private appointments for open homes, for both sales and lettings, our agents will undertake the following:

  • As a condition of entry, we require attendees to indicate that they are not ill, self-isolating or under quarantine.
  • Masks must be worn at all times
  • Single appointments of one attendee (in addition to one agent) who must provide their details at the time of making the appointment.
  • Arrange with the owner to prepare the property for contactless inspections.  Have key drawers, pantries and wardrobes open and ready to view. Open as many doors and windows as possible to minimise the need for attendees to do the same.  Attendees will be asked to refrain from touching anything inside the property.
  • Arrange to have all surfaces of the home, including benchtops and door handles, wiped down with cleaning products.
  • Have hand sanitiser available at the entry of the property. 
  • Observe ‘social distancing’ protocols of staying 1.5m away from others wherever possible. 
  • Limit inspection times, allowing 15-30 minutes for people to peruse the property.

Please note: we will only show rental properties if they are vacant.

Virtual Inspections (Sales & Lettings)
We are offering virtual inspections over this period, which allow a personalised property viewing experience without any of the risks that exist with face-to-face contact. There are a variety of online platforms we can use to do this with buyers and renters, for both residential and commercial property. Appraisals for (Sales & Lettings)
We are offering appraisals over this period, if you would like to book an appraisal, you can do so here:

Signing of Contracts
All our clients, whether you are leasing a property, exchanging on a sale or re-signing agency agreements we can do so electronically.

Online/Virtual Auctions
As we are currently unable to run onsite auctions or in-room auctions, we can and have successfully run virtual auctions.

Property Marketing
If clients are happy to proceed, we will ensure all safety measures are taken to continue to produce marketing materials (photos, floorplans, styling).

Pre-Settlement Inspections
Pre-settlement inspections will proceed but in line with NSW Government guidelines, only one party is to attend.


Routine Inspections
These will be put on hold until further notice. If you have received a notification of a Routine Inspection in the last few weeks please disregard it, we will reschedule these.

Vacate Inspections
Our Property Managers will continue to complete vacate inspections as usual. These are also only able to be carried out with one Property Manager and one client. Should you be vacating in the next two weeks and wish to attend your vacate inspection please contact your Property Manager.

In end of lease situations, our maintenance team will now only commence work once the current tenant has vacated the property. This will minimise our team’s and preferred tradesman’s risk. 

Ingoing Inspections
Ingoing inspections will continue and tenants can move in as usual. Our team is able to provide all paperwork digitally and can offer key handover services with one tenant, or keys can be arranged for collection by lock box.
