Two Nights, Two Charities, In Excess of $500,000 Raised

By Claire Tracey

In recent weeks, Ray White Lower North Shore have contributed significantly to events hosted by the Raise Foundation and Lifeline.

The Raise Foundation held their 10th annual Sparkle Ball on Friday 31st August with all those present raising over $300,000 towards mentoring programs for at risk youth. The Raise Foundation empowers young people across Australia to become resilient, capable and connected. These funds will be put to good use by fostering better practices in the mentoring of an additional 150 young Australians in the next year.

Three weeks later, the team at Ray White Lower North Shore were invited to support another important cause. Lifeline’s Sapphire Gala Ball was held on Friday September 21st, raising over $210,000 to better mental health services, specifically in suicide prevention services and face-to-face counselling.

Ray White Lower North Shore’s Director, Geoff Smith, successfully lead the auctions on both of these evenings as the attendees bid on a wide variety of donations made by many businesses and members of the community.
