The Resident – Mimi from Mimi’s Beauty and Skincare Clinic

By Amy De Kock

This month, our Resident is Mimi, she lives in Cremorne and owns Mimi’s beauty and skincare clinic in Cremorne Town Centre.

How long have you lived in Cremorne,  and what do you love about the area?

25 years, the village feeling and friendliness.

Anything you don’t love?

The State Government, as they cut back the bus services, but hopefully this will change.

Can you share with us your favourite spot for a coffee in the area?

MESA Cafe, in front of my business and next to the medical centre, I go and it’s the best!

And for a feed?

MESA Cafe again, it is a cafe that looks after locals, old people and after school customers.

And how about retail therapy? Any favourite shops?

The Cremorne Town Centre Pharmacy, since we don’t have a lot to shop around here…

Any local hidden gems you’d be kind enough to share with us? (this can be anything – people, shops, services, parks, walks…whatever you like!)

I like the Cremorne Garden Plaza, it has open air and Italian food!

What’s your favourite room in your home?

The kitchen, since I like cooking.

Describe your ideal weekend in the Lower North Shore…

Dinner at Bathers with friends

Finally, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love going to the Orpheum Cinema
