By Justin Kurenda

Ray White Lower North Shore as part of the Ray White Cares Program has identified opportunities for employees to give back to the community.

On Friday, 22nd of June, Ray White held a trivia night at Warringah Bowls Club and raised$10,481for the Red Earth Charity, which supports the remote Indigenous communities.

With support from Mosman locals, friends, family and clients, the fundraiser featured a night of trivia, auctions and raffles.

Ray White Lower North Shore’s Richard Harding said: “We are delighted to have held a spectacular fundraising event for the Red Earth Program”. It’s such a great opportunity for people to have some fun while raising awareness for such a worthy cause”.

Red Earth is an organisation that gives people the opportunity to make a meaningful connection to remote Indigenous Australia. This is done by organising Immersion Programs to remote communities and homelands where traditional Aboriginal culture still lives strong.

Ray White Lower North Shore have selected 5 volunteers based on performance and a submission to participate in the Ray White Cares Red Earth Program.

“Projects will consist of building infrastructure and working with kids in the local schools. Our Ray White Cares program will ensure that our volunteers get their hands dirty and make a positive and lasting effect on those they come in contact with” said Richard Harding”.

Ray White Lower North Shore’s Jessica Brincat said “In total Ray White have now raised $13,281 for Red Earth, however, our aim is to hit $25,000”.

The next event in support of the Red Earth Program will be the Whisky tasting night held on July 13th 2018 . All funds raised will go towards supporting the Red Earth Program.
