Demand for Sydney houses is still strong, according to REA economist Nerida Conisbee, but it’s certainly stronger in suburbs more than others.
Ms Conisbee said, generally speaking, the Sydney market was favouring sellers wishing to downsize.
“You could sell your house and pick up something smaller, because apartments aren’t moving as fast as houses,” she said.
