The option for buyers to register and bid online is not new, however, pre-pandemic, it was mostly utilised by those who were unable to attend the on-site or in-room auction on the day.
Today, it’s virtual for all parties which means both buyers and the vendor are at home and participating online. Since the beginning of lockdown at the end of June, we have already conducted nine virtual auctions with a 100% clearance rate.
In the week leading up to the auction, buyers are provided with a digital pre-registration link and we work with all parties to ensure they understand the process. Then all they need to do is login just prior to the auction and participate either online or over the phone.
At Ray White Lower North Shore Group, we offer every buyer a dedicated sales agent to be on the phone guiding them through the bidding process. The benefits this has had on the auction results have truly shown us that bidders are comfortable and confident going into the auction.
To get an idea of how they work, take a look below at our auction conducted for 71 Colin Street, Cammeray.
If you have any questions at all about how to register to bid and how we can help you over the phone throughout an auction, please contact one of our team here.
